And to top it all off, the Mets sweep the Yankees on national television, putting them in last place in the AL East, 6 games behind the division-leading Red Sox. And “division-leading” somewhat understates it, since the Sox now have the best record in the AL while the Yanks have the 3rd-worst.
Baseball has been shaken up, just like your employment situation. I know that the former is a change for the better; I hope that the latter is, too.
